NVCSS is contracted with Butte County Children’s Services (child protective services) to provide a variety of
groups/classes to parents who are in the reunification process, having had their children detained because of abuse or neglect.
Family Support, Anger Management, Life Skills and Nurturing Parenting classes are held at convenient times and days throughout the week.
The family’s social worker at Children’s Services must send a referral to NVCSS in order for them to be enrolled into the classes.
