NVCSS is contracted with Butte County Children’s Services (child protective services) to provide a variety of
groups/classes to parents who are in the reunification process, having had their children detained because of abuse or neglect.
Family Support, PEER [Parent Education Experiential Program] and Nurturing Parenting classes are held at convenient times and days throughout the week.
The family’s social worker at Children’s Services must send a referral to NVCSS in order for them to be enrolled into the classes.
