The Teenage Pregnancy and Parenting Program (TAPP) is a free and voluntary case management program for pregnant and parenting teens, including teen fathers.
A teen parent may receive services until the age of 19 or for a period of up to 24 months, whichever time period is longer.
The program ensures health and wellbeing of teen parents and their children by connecting families with appropriate services and being a support and advocate for the family.
TAPP can help you:
- Stay in school
- Get job training, plan a career or look for a job
- Define personal, family, and career goals
- Take care of you and your baby
- Prepare for labor and delivery
- With problem-solving skills
- Learn about community resources
We can help you obtain:
- Medical care during and after pregnancy
- Childbirth education
- Financial help
- Vocational counseling
- Child care
- Counseling (school, family, adoption, nutrition or substance abuse)
